meades it is
yeah it says "meades expenses event"
Hosted by PCG accredited accountant Louise Williamson, the evening will provide independent professionals running a limited company with an overview of:
• What expenses are claimable
• What expenses are not claimable
• Common misconceptions
Louise will discuss a range of scenarios including the rules around reclaiming expenses, and whether it is permissible to pay life insurance through a business. The event will also address HMRC’s 24 month rule as well as what expenses are claimable when working from home. Be prepared to be entertained by some of the more bizarre questions Louise has come across during her career.
Details:
• Start time: Refreshments from 18:00, seminar to begin by 18:30
• Venue Address: Grosvenor Hotel, 101 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 0SJ
• Light Buffet will be provided
• Finish time: Expected finish 8:30pm

Depends who's running it. If it's Paul Meades, for example, it's seriously worth going. If it's Darwin or AML, it's probably not.Originally posted by CanPayButWouldRatherNot View PostAnyone ever been to one of these gigs ?

Just worried it might turn into a marketing gig for people trying to sell me stuff.
Any words of wisdom ?

And of course they're trying to sell you something; the only people that do these genuinely for free are PCG.
