I'm in Spain right now and need to consider staying here over 6 months.

Being self employed in Spain could probably resolve any concerns about that and there is ~260 euro SS + 20% tax introduced (this year I believe) for self-employed not contracting for previous employer (I'm not sure how my case would be considered here because I would be working indirectly for my previous employer).
I'd suggest your first step would be to find a Spanish accountant, and ask them what the implications would be there. BlasterBates is absolutely correct, and you could have double taxation issues for the company if it's incorporated here yet the management and control takes place in Spain. You also need to know how best to take money out of the company from a Spanish income tax point view.

You're taxed where you do the work, doesn't matter where the client is.

started a topic self-employed in EU invoicing own UK LTD company

self-employed in EU invoicing own UK LTD company

    Hi,

I'm running my 1-person LTD company and got contracted by UK client.
Is it legal to be invoicing own LTD company in UK as a self-employed in EU?
If that matters the work is being done remotely (IT) and is unrelated to any country. (Can be done from wherever I want)

    Thanks.

Working...
