I'm in Spain right now and need to consider staying here over 6 months.
Furthermore my UK client is my previous employer and I'm not sure if I fall under IR35 when working from abroad?
Being self employed in Spain could probably resolve any concerns about that and there is ~260 euro SS + 20% tax introduced (this year I believe) for self-employed not contracting for previous employer (I'm not sure how my case would be considered here because I would be working indirectly for my previous employer).

I think your motive would play a part in whether there's a problem - why are you doing it this way?

You're taxed where you do the work, doesn't matter where the client is.

self-employed in EU invoicing own UK LTD company
Hi,
I'm running my 1-person LTD company and got contracted by UK client.
Is it legal to be invoicing own LTD company in UK as a self-employed in EU?
If that matters the work is being done remotely (IT) and is unrelated to any country. (Can be done from wherever I want)
Thanks.Tags: None
