started a topic Pay Corp Tax by personal debit card?

Pay Corp Tax by personal debit card?

I'm in the final stages of closing my Ltd Co. The final liability to settle is £300 of corporation tax. The company account is a 'free' cheque only account, and when I went in to the bank they wanted £25 for a same day transfer to pay it. I could just pay the £25 to the bank, and £300 to HMRC; that way both fees would come out of the company account (I'd then transfer the £2k balance to my current account and close the company account, followed by closing the ltd co.)

A cheaper way would be to pay the £300 by my personal debit card via the HMRC website. I'd save £25: But can anyone tell me if it would be A Bad Thing to pay corporation tax with a personal debit card, rather than from the Ltd Co bank account?
