They're an Indian bank here.
If people want to risk all their money and financial information by using an offshore outfit for a slightly higher savings percentage, that's up to them. But for me, Im out.
Remember the icelandic bank fiasco?

ICICI bank is also covered by the FSCS, so first £85k is covered.Originally posted by Nixon Williams View PostYou should check whether the bank has some sort of compensation scheme.
Cater Allen have full compensation under the FMCS so that in effect upto £85,000 is covered in full.
Just looking at the figures,
The adequancy ratios for ICICI is 32.42% whereas for HSBC is 14.7%. I am not a Financial expert, but this means more security isn't it?Last edited by rd409; 11 February 2013, 10:02.

Icici does offer that £85,000. A cursory glance at the website would confirm that information.Originally posted by Nixon Williams View PostYou should check whether the bank has some sort of compensation scheme.

I guess if you don't put more than £85,000 in the account its a worthwhile risk for the £500 or so it would give you,.

Re: Anyone had any experience with ICICI Bank business banking?
Not so - Santander is 1.5% whilst ING is 1.4%. It's not much but it adds up over the course of a year.

Santander do a business reward saver at about the same.
Just looked at ICIC and first thing I see is an Indian Rupe travel card so quit at that point.

Anyone had any experience with ICICI Bank business banking?
Currently with Cater Allen for my business banking but looked on the ICICI business bank homepage and they offer 2.02% on their instant access savings account. Anyone had experience of their service etc? CA provide very good service but I want to make my money earn some actual interest and I'd need to transfer all my banking over to ICICI to be eligible for the savings account...Tags: None
