    Bugbait is quite correct,

We are very clear on Sub-Judice rules.

These types of posts rarely stay on the straight and narrow which is why I'm locking this one.

I won't delete it incase people want to search. But this is as far as this thread goes.

Up to the Mod's but I would think it's okay to share conatct details since it's for the Police after all, nothing top secret. However, I believe the Mod's made it very clear that no details of the ongoing case may be divulged on the forums. Based on the legal advise I got it's okay to discuss it with others already familair with the details and posisbly in private, just not publicly since it's an open investigation. Someone better versed in the legal side of things is welcome to correct me though.

Darren does seem to be no longer responding to emails, had better luck with his staff but he doesn't seem to be communicating with them either....

But up to a few weeks again I was receiving prompt emails from Uptons about my account prepartion. The last communication said that Darren was off on holiday but was returning on the 20th. I have emailed and also attempted to telephone, but no answers.

Does anybody on here know if Darren is back at his office?

    Thanks

If allowed and it's easy to do so it's not a bad idea.

Am I working for him for him or is he working for me?

Your accountant works for you. If they're not fulfilling your expectations treat them as you would any other recalcitrant employee.

Not easy to telephone in a busy open plan office - email is a lot more discreet...

Have you ever thought it may be how you phrase your questions?

I was always told the key to getting useful answers out of busy people was to phrase the question correctly, and sometimes by doing that you work out the answer yourself.
