Always responds to my queries very quickly - despite the fact that our footballing allegiances are at polar opposites

It does help if you are a bit proactive in your approach to your company finances though -- a lot of the questions I ask are mainly for verification purposes (at least I hope that they are)

I had some communications with Darren. He seems willing to meet prospective and existing clients and seems to put effort in communicating directly via email and phone if needed - no complex "personal manager (firewall)" system like other big accountants (who are always seemed shamed on this forum).

Sorry chaps, looks like a change in brand preference! Anyone going to put a poll on the main board to find out which is best once and for all!!

Yes. It's apparently by appointment only.

Anyway instead of asking us why don't you ring him up and speak to him. He doesn't bite.

I've met Darren a couple of times at his Wakefield office, he has always been more than willing to meet up if I wish.

started a topic Face To Face With Upton Accountants

Face To Face With Upton Accountants

I ve been with upton for over 6 months now and I ve asked a couple of questions which have been answered by email.

Has anyone had a face 2 face with them? My tax affairs are a little more complicated and I wanted to understand all the options available to me and how to structure my affairs.

Whilst everyone on the board claims upton is amazing I have to say I have not been blown away with them. I would expect them to look at my accounts and advise me on how to structure payouts and dividends. So far I ve had to do a lot of nagging and ideas suggestion to get that done.

So : Has anyone met the uptons gang? Do they have a satellite office in London?
Working...
