    IMHO, not necessary if the circumstances of the OP are similar to most contractors ..

    The contracts in PCG member area or QDOS are drafted by specialists and will suit most contractors ..

    If you are a PCG member, you should get a model contract in their members area ..
    Else
    QDOS Freelancers club which costs 40 quid provides a model contract .

    1. The intention of the contract is that of being an independant contractor
    2. The Company will have full responsibility and liability for any defective work
