I won't be satisfied until he confesses to the location of Jimmy Hoffa.Originally posted by administratorIf you had some of the posts I deleted I think you would be more inclinded to call it bashing. Stating that SJD control this board, mount rubbishing campaigns against competitors, brought down the world trade centre, killed JFK and, the little known fact that Simon is actually Bin Laden in disguise. I know we all like our conspiracy theories but come on.

This board is independent and all brollies and accountants can market as much as they like on here as long as they are not rubbishing each other. Just because SJD have provided guides and are more vocal than others does not mean they own it!

Note:Originally posted by simonsjdaccountancyMay as well make it clear once again:
SJD own Contractor Umbrella Ltd, not Contractor UK Ltd- similar names I know which for the less than intelligent might be confusing.
SJD own Contractor Umbrella Ltd, not Contractor UK Ltd
Is that not clear enough? With the posting of sensitive personal info on the board in the last hour or two I am pretty much done with this. Go take your conspiracy theories elsewhere please.

Well done!
And well done too, to SJD. You have just won me over!
It just shows, doesn't it, that HMRC are more than willing to try it on. Even with nothing of any real substance to work with. I bet that meanwhile, some Earnest Saunders type (remember him? Only man ever to recover from Altzheimers. Guinness really IS good for you, it seems) is costing HMRC billions, and all they do is p1ss-w4nk about chasing-up pennies. Plus ca change.

Any decent accountant worth their salt should help anyway they can. I'd say Insurance is far more important than any accountant.

They haven't charged me a penny. I offerred to pay an additional charge for their extra services of writing letters etc, but they haven't charged me for any of it.Originally posted by Andy2Do they charge for this additional service or its part of normal service ?
Very supportive, professional and invaluable service.

Do they charge for this additional service or its part of normal service ?Originally posted by SallyAnneHi All,
I'd like to do something that we dont often do on here...praise someone!!
I've been being investigated by HMRC for the last 18 months, and I've been battling hard with them...with the outcome being they wanted £11k off me for expenses they reckoned I shouldn't have been claiming.
I got SJD involved (well more to the point, Simon from SJD (who gets on this board) asked my branch to get more involved) and within a matter of weeks the issue has been resolved, and I now owe HMRC nothing
SJD are worth every penny, so to any newbie contractors out there, I would strongly advise you to sign up with them.

Nice one, SA. And a nice antidote to all the newbies who join just to post about how bad SJD are.
