There is a form on the SATR that you can fill in to reduce POA payments. You've got 3 days to amend your SATR. Or even better, tell your accountant to do it.

You don’t have to wait until next year to tell them about your change of circumstances, get on the phone to them after the 31st to let them know about your changes.

Basic Accounting Question...Sorry too basic..
I was a contractor for long and moved to Perm last year.I also made 50K dividend payments 2021/22 year. This means I ended up with 40K Tax payment as per calculations to be paid in 2 instalments in in Jan 2023 + July 2023.
One basic question i have is this tax I am paying is for 2021/22 and projected 2022/23 as well right..? as I understand HMRC will make 2021/22 tax as basis for 2022/23 projection and ask to pay the same amount for next year as well..? thanksTags: None
