    Accountant merging with another firm

    Some months ago, my accountant notified me they were now merging with another firm.

    Does the merger automatically mean I am still represented by the new firm and with the same obligations from both sides, or as I have not signed new T&Cs aor terms of service with the new firm, I am free to assume they dont?

    I want to switch to new accountant with minimal disruption i.e. the transfer of docs from old to new accountant,
