£6.50 Commission charges.Originally posted by morf View PostBarclay's users what are your normal monthly bank costs, I see they charge for quite a few payments?
-£0.65 Loyalty Reward.
So, £5.85 per month.
No other charges for me.
I just have invoices being paid into account, and direct debits, standing orders, and payments going out. I don't do anything with cash. Occasional HMRC refund cheque to pay in, no charges for that.
Only thing I don't like about Barclays is their app no longer works on a rooted Android phone. But you can just load up the mobile website instead.Last edited by yMyjgT; 9 May 2018, 20:21.

PS thanks for all the replies so far very useful.
PPS the fact that TSB still has a stack of issues shows they shouldn't have migrated...

Santander Business Account works very well with FreeAgent, setting up bank feed was simple, plus a decent mobile app (needs a UI refresh!) and 18m free banking if your 123 account holder already, so it made the application process easy for me.

Assuming now RBS have bought freeagent this will ensure a direct feed.

Banks
Barclays, Santander, Lloyds and Tide all work well with Freeagent. HSBC have dual login at the moment, bit of a pain but works ok.

Barclays
Had no issues with Barclays over the past few years. Their app and customer service (for business at least) is great.

HSBC are as good as any, had three issues in 20 years and all resolved promptly, and offer all the tools you will ever need. They allow Yodlee in as well although that is not without the occasional hiccup in service meaning the odd manual loading of a downloaded statement.

NatWest is an overnight feed into free agent but I have heard some banks are near real time so making it easier to keep reconciliations alignment.

NatWest also give a direct feed into FreeAgent and RBS (who own NatWest) have an interest in making sure everything works smoothly given the recent ownership change

Been happily using Santander for many years. Works well with FreeAgent, via Yodlee, but never had any connection problems. No monthly fee either.

Cheers for the feedback guys, Faster Payments is pretty useful as I like paying myself then doing all my personal banking in one sitting.
Thanks
