    Whats the point? Unless you plan to cut ties with UK and become non-tax resident (quite difficult to actually do believe me) you will pay the tax balance to HMRC up to what you would have paid as if taxed as perm in UK.

    I didn't say "Go with what the agency/client tells you to go with". I know that most of the agents/agencies are clueless or downright leading you down the wrong path, but it doesn't hurt to have more options to wight/consider

    Do a search for the management company's website if they have full address information and it isn't in a tax haven then they should be legit. Yes you may have to Google to confirm the country it is in isn't a tax haven.
