Read our lips - "Join the PCG via PCGPlus, and use their discounted PI scheme". Then you get investigation insurance, professional guidance on tax and legal, Jury service cover and PI/ELI/EI for around £450 a year, plus a small pile of ancillary benefits, the whole package worth around £1200 on the open market.

It's currently as cheap as anything out there (although the world is changing slowly, so keep your eyes open)

Seems to all go through an insurance brokers. Are they any good. Had bad previous experience with insurance so am naturally a little edgy.

PI of £100K plus £1M shared + PL + EL for £201 from PCG

Membership includes IR35/PAYE etc legal cover (well the PCGplus membership does)

Yep, so did I. I got the employers and public liability bundle as well.

Next time I might join the PCG and go through their scheme, which seems cheaper.
