Read our lips - "Join the PCG via PCGPlus, and use their discounted PI scheme". Then you get investigation insurance, professional guidance on tax and legal, Jury service cover and PI/ELI/EI for around £450 a year, plus a small pile of ancillary benefits, the whole package worth around £1200 on the open market.
It's currently as cheap as anything out there (although the world is changing slowly, so keep your eyes open)

Yep, so did I. I got the employers and public liability bundle as well.
Next time I might join the PCG and go through their scheme, which seems cheaper.
