    New Car Please

Need to buy a new car...have £12k - £15K to spend...want something that is cool, a little flash, econimical, no more than 3 years old and a bit sporty but doesn't make me look like an overpaid arse when I turn up for contract work.

Going through a mid-life crisis and finally fed up of driving the wannabe cars I have had in recent years like Merc C Class and BMW 3 Series...I don't want to be a wannabe any more, I have accepted I am a nobody and am quite comfortable with that...

    Think Outside the Box

Practical, runs for ever - will probably be the last car you ever need.

    All yours for £12,495

Get one of these - British(ish), cheap (600 quid), runs on ameoba farts and if it gets nicked then just buy another one:

Don't burden yourself with a nice car - it's not worth it with all the arseholes around who have a deathwish.

Mazda 6, MPS if you can find it, it is the ultimate contractor car. Not likely to p1ss off the clients/permies when parked in the company car park, goes like stink.

Anyone who says different knows fsck all about contracting and cars.

Saab 93, the new model with the 1.9 Turbo Diesel. Goes like stink, gets 50Mpg+ on the motor way and doesnt lump you in with the BMW / Mercedes wannabe's.
