    any chance of the betting community taking odds on windoze vista being ready for the jan 07 launch. the odds might be slimmer than for england to win the next rugby world cup an exciting year all round i think

      Its all a bit like people saying IE is full of bugs, crowing about every news report of a loophole, then ignoring the fiasco of Mozailla / Firefox being revealed as an open doorway onto your PC....

        IE security updates run at several every month. At least the Firefox security holes tend to get plugged before the exploit its used in the wild. Microsoft don't even acknowledge security holes until somebody has used the exploit in the wild.
