Big hairy pussys keep me up all night

Mrs. W has two Maine Coons. Up at half four this morning, thundering up and down the stairs like a couple of toddlers on acid.

    The vegetarian option.

Yep, that's about the size of it (only hers are silver grey and tabby).

We have a Main Coon as well, not quite that size but equally active in the mornings.

If we dont get up within 5 mins of the alarm going she comes and sits on us and yowls loudly untill we do.

In fairness the silver guy is very little trouble, most mornings he's content to lay stretched out across the landing, or curled up, filling the bathroom sink. It's the tabby one that's the real git. Tactics used so far include yowling, jumping on the bed and sitting on Mr's W, scratching the wallpaper, nudging through the curtains letting the light in, jumping onto Mr's Ws dresser knocking bottles and canisters over and 'playing' with jewellery box/necklace hanger.

They definately have plenty of 'personality'.

Ours will bring us her favorite toys and drop them in our laps if she thinks we arn't paying enough attention to her, or bat them around the bedroom and landing when we are in bed. She also does the curtains thing, although it seems to be more to get up on the window sill than anything else.
