In reply to the above: Not the case. The only time I (+ all mods) receive a message about people acting up is when somebody reports a post.
In kandr's case, several PMs and warnings had been exchanged about him disrupting the fora prior to this. Indeed, infractions + tempbannery were used. As they are quite routinely.
Why is this of such interest to you markmm?
Unfairness is always of interest to me, it is something I cannot keep quiet about.Comment

As much as it pains me I agree with MM. I'm not sure that RH is bias in so much I don't feel he has the best judgement in what is an infraction/ban and communication with the other mods(I have discussed this via PM with him so he doesn't need to reply to this)
On the last exchange I offered to swap duties with him. He asked who I would ban first...

Incidentally - you complain I can't be suited to modding because I post too much. Someone else complained to me (after a warning) that I post too rarely to be involved enough to judge. You can't win.
FYI I wasn't always a mod. Those who've been around a while will know my posting-rate dropped markedly after I was made a mod. For all sorts of reasons.Comment

It is very simple. All you need to do is post with intelligence, style and wit and you won't have any problems. Works well for quite a few of us.Comment
