Why don’t agents just ask for a bribe instead of all this bullshytte?
Would be far easier..... "Yes I'd like to put you forward for a role, I'm putting over 2 CVs, and the current bid is at £47 to be one of them. Make me an offer?"

At least you could decide.

True, didn't think this one out.. he'd spin that £47 line to 100 candidates and put none of them through.
Of course!
There used to be a time when agents were polite, returned your e-mails and calls (well some of mine did) and then the recession kicked in and they don't have to bother with that any more because its you and 3000 other candidates vying for a job that pays peanuts.
bitter moi?
