    No, the human arse produces a lot of sh*t, rather like most of the nancy boys on here. Anyway my donkey friend Eeaw and I are getting married in the Spring. The sex is consenual and transport is provided free of charge. Where's the harm in that ?

      Actually, not sure I totally agree with concept of a specifically gay civil ceremony either. In the matter of the legalities, such as committing our inherited wealth/pensions etc to another, why is it relevant that we have a sexual relationship of any sort?

      This is hardly fair on the single or those who do not have any sort of sexual partner. Why can we not all of us, regardless of sexual orienntation, have an equal right to make the same arrangement with any other person of our choice, be it a partner, friend or relative?

        Mmmmmm. That's the big advantage of it in my view. Great fun. Yes I am a deviant. I must come "clean"

        Re donkey. If it's consensual, none whatever in my view. I trust it's a lady donkey, I don't talk to perverts.

          Let me keep it real simple for you Xog

          Sex=Children=Financial burden=shared responsibility.

          Notice no mention of bottom pumping in the above equation.

            Slight legal flaw in your "simple" arguments jabber. The legalities that flow from marriage do not depend on children so your = does not apply.

            A man can legally transfer money to his wife without tax consequence. Does not depend on having children.

            A wife may inherit a husband's estate without duty, Does not depend on having children.

            In most pension schemes, including the state provision, a woman may legally inherit her husband's entitlement. (In most private schemes a different provision may apply on request but only at the trustee's discretion). Does not depend on having children.

            Why should unmarried man a) who has worked just as hard as married man b) not be able to give or leave his wealth to another with all the same tax advantages? It hardly matters if it is a gay lover, a close friend, his sister. or Battersea Dog's Home

              Simple Xoggy, because we want to encourage heterosexual married couples. We need a new generation of well-adjusted, healthy, christian-orientated people to keep the economy going. And the best place to bring up children is in a male female parenting scenario. We don't need bum-loving bottom sharks - they will only create an older and older society.

                We need? Who says? Sorry, those are unsupported and unsubstantiated statements.

                Even that "younger society" thing is flawed. We hear it over and over again from the pro-immigration lobby. Since there is, as yet, no evident end to human longevity, the younger society is only obtained by a) ever increasing population with all the consequent diminution of quality of life b) Killing off the old. There are in fact better solutions.

                Well-adjusted, healthy sounds good. Christian-orientated to me sounds like a frigging nightmare. We need a more rational society, attuned to real issues and people's real earthly needs and wants, not more superstition from a dead book.

                  If homosexuality is so unnatural then why are such a seemingly high percentage of people gay?

                    I don't know what percentage you have in mind, but it isn't logical to say "there are a lot so it must be natural".
