    every call (and by golly there's a lot of them) has to be punched onto speaker, dialed on the phone (so we can all hear the tone) and then when the person picks up (or goes to voice mail) we all get to hear the greeting.

      then there's the sudden quick grab as "the loud one" picks up the phone and yells into it.

        if people don't pick up there phone (and there are quite a few who don't)

          she cuts the call at the moment of voice mail, waits a few seconds, and then does the whole thing again, and again, and again.

            after three or four attempts she will then leave a nice loud voice message.

              "the loud one" is not the loudest i've ever come across but pretty close.
