every clientco has political issues but this one is particularly rife at the moment for the piece that i have been hired to do

there is a great deal of antipathy from users (nothing so unusual there)

and there is strong resentment from middle management (nothing so unusual there either)

but this is exacerbated by the fact that a portion of the business are on the cusp of implementing their own version of the solution that i have been hired to design and implement.

and are consequently doing everything in their power to discredit what i have been hired to do.

still. despite that thus is good tulip.

being in work is good tulip when you have been out of it for a while.

an interesting point has been that the oracle sales chap has indicated that they are suddenly getting very, very busy.
