It's a hideous job.

I found a picture of a 3 3/8" barrelled S&W Model 629 (the stainless version of the Model 29 44 magnum).

It was magnaported as well, so it would be muzzle blast city with full loads...

Not to mention hurting your hand when it went off.

Factory standard gun too, but very rare.
