Should I do it?
Found out I did not get the gig I was interviewed for this morning - I was a close 2nd so the agent said. Role was not strictly a BA but more of a man manager whilst they implemented a new system.
Now, Bloke who offered me the low paid permie job came back and offered a 3month contract based on 30k pa stressed that was the limit ( about 7.5K for the duration) but I have not got back to him yet. Not too far away 10 miles or so but a pig to get to and lousy area ( Smethwick)
After being benched since March I am tempted as it is more PM work - and would look good on the old CV.
Oh well - at least it would stop me dipping into my remaining funds
Think I will sleep on it before sending email.Just call me Matron - Too many handbagsComment

Poss permie role in Stratford
JLR - 2 agents called me for this one however lass from ' you know who' said it was perm when it was advertised as contract - guess they want me to work for them. 2nd agent said it was only a 3 month gig
Do get the feeling things are picking up as getting calls from agents re jobs that have been posted - however do not want to spend any more time on the bench.
Sods law if I take the role - something else will turn up.
PS - Agent sent me a nice email saying her clients were impressed with me and that the bloke who got it and me were ' miles above the rest' and to let her know if I did not take the role incase something else cropped up - at least she bothered.Just call me Matron - Too many handbagsComment
