Not good news at allOriginally posted by voodooflux View PostHeard tonight that one of our neighbours is losing his battle with cancer
He had an op today to determine the extent of the disease, but the prognosis wasn't good. He's in his early 50's with 3 kids, and I'm not sure how much the youngest one knows at the moment - they're having to break the news to him tonight I think. I drove past their house while taking DS1 out to Scouts and couldn't even begin to imagine what they're going through tonight.

Had to take him up a bakewell tart - now he is brushing his teeth so I will now have to clean the bathroom.Originally posted by voodooflux View PostThey have them well trained.

Not at all - they've had an especially rough time of it as the chap's company was going under at the same time he was originally diagnosed, and he's been starting up a new company over the last couple of months.Originally posted by zara_backdog View PostNot good news at all
