Bugger - still haven't fixed the gate yet.Originally posted by voodooflux View PostI fitted the final bolt and latch to my self-build gate this morning - it looks like a proper job
I'm wondering where to start with the other jobs on my list now.
My neighbour heard me offering my excuse "I haven't got a long enough screw to fix it", so went into his cellar and found me some

I seem to have acquired an extensive collection of screws. Each time I start a job I go and buy some more, forgetting that I've probably already got the ones I need.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostBugger - still haven't fixed the gate yet.

Knackered. Pump is now connected to the hose.Originally posted by voodooflux View PostComedy gold
How you doing FaQ?
Hose is now housed in pipework.
Pipework is in the garden.
Just needs burying again and the steps rebuilding, which I had to remove to get to the end of the pipe.
But it's raining now, and I can't be bothered - it will work fine for a couple of weeks until I can get it sorted.Comment

A screw fell out of it (holding the 4x2 to the wall), so now it dangles from 1 screw at the top.Originally posted by voodooflux View PostWassup with the gate?
That shouldn't take me long to fix, but I just haven't got round to it yet.
A job for weekend after next, methinks.Comment

I'd fix that with a tube of "I can't believe it's not nails"Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostA screw fell out of it (holding the 4x2 to the wall), so now it dangles from 1 screw at the top.
