There have been rumors about a contractor cull taking place in a couple of weeks time

That's not good - can you have a "quiet word" with anyone today and get the lowdown?

Do you think anyones bothered that lots of people are either on the sick or turning in late atm?

Doesn't seem so!

I think they'd positively encourage the contractors to stay off at the moment for the cost savings.
