It wasn't massive or anything, but it was very cool given the context. The captain invited anybody who was interested to come and poke their head into the cockpit to have a look - he said it was the furthest south he'd ever seen it

That was very decent of him - it's something that a lot of people would love to see but don't get the opportunity.

I did manage to take some pictures atop a mountain of the most fantastic sunset (at approx. 2pm in the afternoon!) I've ever seen - the sky literally looked like it was ablaze. I'll try and dig them out - I think they're stuck on a old PC with no PSU in it at the moment.

Damn, I really want to back now.
