          Yum, those were nice. It looks like a slice of my mum's bread pudding also made it's way into my sandwich box - I popped in to see the parents on Saturday and was presented with a massive slab of it

            Can't you just harness the power of lightning like all crazed scientists? I don't recall Dr. Frankenstein had to wait for his batteries to recharge before bringing his monster to life.

                    9.8V battery pack for a drill... two versapak 3.2V cells for a jigsaw.

                      Me too... it's about 20 deg C according to the thermometer, but the draught throught the "double glazing" is appalling.

                      And I've just given myself a "blackman's pinch" (or subcutaneous haematoma)... with one of the versapak cells...

                      I trust it won't turn into a granuloma like the last one did...
