      Do you need them?
      Can you afford them?
      When will you wear them?
      Can you get them cheaper elsewhere?

      The key questions to consider before buying them.

        Ubuntu

        Running Ubuntu off the CD is even slower than zeity's modem connection. It might even be slower than NickFitz's hotel WiFi connection.

        So I'm going to install onto a USB stick - if I can.

        But I'm not doing that without backing up the desktop first!

              MyCo is not supplying any workers today. Doesn't mean the employees get a days holiday you know....

              </Denny>

              Actually I need to get some things done today. Was only ever going to able to do a half day but in the end couldn't be arsed.

                And now that I'm back in real time, I'm off for breakfast.

                No idea what to have - porridge or full English?

                Not much time to have a FE before work is meant to start, though.

                  Even if you answer No to all of those questions 9 out of 10 women would still buy them.

                    Ta. A new one on me, that.

                    Oh, yes. It's SockPuppet's 25th birthday virtually non-stop-booze-up weekend, innit?
