But whether it was directly because I cooked or it was because they were lonely and desperate I can't say

No wonder I never got any crumpet. Should've cooked my own.

So what is the current hip-n-trendy, groovy, digging-it terminology in use by the current generation of young trendsters for 'er indoors? The one we called "the bint I've got shacked up at home"?Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostWhat is an established gf?

I would be like that guy Dudly Moore playing in that film (Crazy People ?).Originally posted by BrowneIssue View PostI had considered that but ruled it out because of the inevitable crisp bits in the soup.
Do you work in marketing? 'Cos you should.
Cheese-n-crisp butty dunked in tepid tomato soup it is then.
Buy our new pointless financial product designed to get you into more debt so we can take you house away. It's worth more than you are!!!!

Talking about new hip and trendy etc. that reminds me of a night out i had in Reading a couple of months ago catching up with some mates haven't seen for years.Originally posted by BrowneIssue View PostSo what is the current hip-n-trendy, groovy, digging-it terminology in use by the current generation of young trendsters for 'er indoors? We wandered into subway after we got kicked out of the bar we were in and there were a couple of white kids in thier knocked off designer gear (DINY instead of DKNY, that sort of thing) bragging about how they were "from da hood" because they lived in Whitley (tulipty area full of chavs in Reading).
We were all giggleing away at the muppets who obviously thought they were black and were wondering how long they would last if we dropped them off in a real "hood" somewhere in America. Our best guess was they would get shot by the first guy the came across who had a gun as they tried to tell him that he was thier "bruvver" and ask "howz u dog".
Most amusing the kids these days
