we finally got the xmas tree. the first place was rubbish. we travelled far and wide to reach a special eco friendly grow our own trees place. the trees were crapola.

eventually wound our way back home via the shops and lunch-out and more shops and oooh look some more shops and then our to ocal garden centre.

and at the local garden centre (which had very few trees) we gave up and bought the first vaguely ok tree rather than go looking any more.

got a new stand - not a screw into place thing that seem to be everywhere these days but a self assembly scaffold in a bucket thing. works an absolute treat!
