Why does everyone think that freemasonry, is an evil clique, out to control the financial institutions of the world.
It is a fellowship, grounded in Christianity that does a tremendous amount of charity work. yet does not advertise the fact to gain kudos for itself ?

I don't think it's an evil clique - I'd like to know why there is such secrecy (only 'cos I am nosy - they could be dancing conga in the nip and praying to whoever and I wouldn't care) I can't say it keeps me awake at night

My girlfriend's uncle died recently - was head of his lodge for 3 years. Most of her family hated him and it was my job to stop the gf laughing during the service or sticking pins into him to make sure he was gone.

I am sure they do alot of good work for charity but they might like to help out their own family a bit.
