We went to Hawaii for two weeks for my 30th (cashed in the Hilton points and freebie miles), so this is a similar thing.

I looked at tickets for Wicked on Broadway, but the cheapest ones were $140 each (restricted view) and the ones that I would want were $240 each.
Not paying that much, I'll take her to London instead at some stage.Comment

New York is a brilliant place to go.
I went 8 years ago & I felt safer there than I did in London
But only 1 extra suitcase
I suppose you can buy another one out thereComment

You can buy tickets in Times Square on the day of the performance and if you are not bothered which show you want to see, you can get some pretty good dealsOriginally posted by TheFaQQer View PostI looked at tickets for Wicked on Broadway, but the cheapest ones were $140 each (restricted view) and the ones that I would want were $240 each.

If we're overweight, the extra charges aren't that bad - $50 to $100 max, so if we need a third suitcase then so be it!Comment

I've seen lots in London this year through lastminute.com so I'll see what we can get when we're there...Comment

I think that the ticket outlet is actually a co-operative type of thing between all the theatres (or owned by the City Council). It is slap in the middle of Times SquareComment
