Ooh, ouch. So far I've been lucky - I've turned down London gigs simply because once I've taken into account travel and expenses, it's better to go for a cheaper local gig. If the right client comes up with a nice gig though, I wouldn't necessarily say no. C'est la vie, if you want a plan b. Hey, that rhymes.

I hate working in London, but am coining it in, even taking into account expenses.

I'm taking considerably more out of the public purse than I put in.
