BA are now reporting the "severe" weather at Heathrow. Can't believe that it's that bad.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostThe plane is now here, but there is no estimated time of departure. Is the weather really bad at Heathrow today or something? All they have blamed it on is the poor weather (which looks pretty good to me) and air traffic restrictions around Heathrow.
We're due off in 10 minutes, but somehow I don't think it's going to happen

Oh - it's foggy in London. That explains everything.
Boarding time is now 9.30 for a 10.15 departure, instead of the 10.00 arrival that we're normally on. Which means that we'll land at 11ish, and I might get out of terminal one by 12.

Oh and made an apple crumble from the windfalls in the garden.Si posse, recte, si non, quocumque modo remComment

Why do airports never have any power sockets near seats? I'm sitting on the floor now, as my laptop battery has died because the plane is so late.
It's not doing my bad back any good.Comment

I made an apple crumble this weekend for tea on Saturday, and we had the leftovers last night. My parents have a few apple trees at the top of their garden, so we were picking last weekend, and have asked for more next week.Originally posted by Bear View PostNot bad - apart from being too short!!

Fresh custard to go with it, too.

Morning all
Had a little firework party round my house on Saturday, got pissed, spent Sunday recovering. So my weekend went by in a flash.
In a couple of weeks we're hiring the village cafe out for the night and having an Allo Allo party. I bet that weekend goes by in a flash too.
