So...2 weeks after I said yes to the permie gig (still no response from them as to when to actually start ) I have now secured a proper gig... getting the contracts today to be reviewed then start on 1st Oct....finally! (close to home too)
I feel Zeity's lizardly pain. Our esteemed international customers are coming back this week, then the rest of them next week. It means that all changes which might actually be of any use are frozen until the end of the month.
There goes my chance of doing some decent upgrade work before CovBaby arrives
And we know that the esteemed customers are returning at home too: we live on a road with a significant number of student houses (but several families with children too). Last night one of them decided to hold a noisy party in the back garden until 1AM. Tired now
