I decided to try & do some par boiled roasties for some obscure reason (don't ask...).

I chose the baking tray we baked the fish on last Tuesday & I don't think it got washed very well judging by the smell.

    Ho hum.

I'm sure they'll be just fine.

Am looking forward to doing a full roast when I move into the new house, bit difficult in a one shelf oven atm.

Just found this site, which is good if you want to know what spuds are suitable for what.

It's been a mare here, as the varieties are different so it's been trial and error with mash etc...

They used to sell Rooster spuds at one supermarket which are great all rounders but like all supermarkets here, they'll stock them one week and then you won't see them again for ages. I really miss Waitrose and M&S just for the sheer range, quality of produce and consistency in stock.

Just boarded, its the type of plane that if it crashes they can give all the passengers names out on the news bulletin!

                      Bored.

                      Now.

This morning was a bit of a trial, all in all.

                      Ho fecking hum.

The roast potatoes (par boiled) were a reasonable success and not at all fishy.
