    Afternoon.

Lunch was a bit depressing really. Feeble attempt at some exotic-ish Asian-ish stuff. Urgh.

I've just had to explain to my client that:

      - if you give me data in a common format, I only need one import routine, so I only need to write it once.

      - if you give me data in 24 different formats, then I need to write 24 different import routines. This takes 24 times as long to write.

      - if you change the format once the import routine has been written, then I need to re-write the import routine.

Three days wasted last week, but at least it's billable time

Minor tropical rainstorm 10 minutes ago and it's all dried up already. Ho hum.

Yesterday, after the deluge in Tesco's carpark during which I locked up all 4 wheels on the FixItAgainTomorrow, I came back out of the shoppe or emporium to a surreal scene.

I thought the car was on fire (can but hope) but it was the water steaming off the tarmac.

            Looked quite impressive.

              In other news:

              Bored.

              Now.

Can't find a CF card interface pcb thingie apart from ebay.

Don't think a SD card i/f will be fast enough.

              Ho hum.
