I have one of my esteemed customers in here working on this final year project (not 3rd year project coz this is his 4th).
Attempting to put a resistor and an LDR (light dependent resistor) on a piece of veroboard.
First attemptMainly because all the components were soldered to one track, so there was a short from the positive supply to the negative supply.Originally posted by Numbskulltook a lot of current
2.5 hours later we still haven't got to the stage of it working.

3 wires.
2 components.
1 bit of veroboard.
How difficult can it possibly be?

Is it my fault?
Should I have shot him on his first day 3 years ago?Comment

You are telling me.Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostIts been a struggle today
It finally works.
There's more solder on it than you'd need to repair a kettle.

And another esteemed customer has brought me a list of components for his final year project.
All taken from the Digikey site.
So I've had to key every fecking one in to discover wtf it is & if we've got the equivalent in stores.
