It didn't.Originally posted by zeitghost View PostWell the test rig for the Sharp zapper has been constructed & tested on breadboard.
One waits with bated breath to see if the Sharp tv understands what it's being told.
Bet it won't.
It'll be cycle counting again if I'm any judge.
Fixed a couple of timing problems and inverted the checksum thingie on the 2nd pulse.
After some time trying to remember how to set the scope to capture stuff, I eventually discovered that, instead of sending 0x16, it was actually sending 0x17.

I'd altered a comment rather than the literal.

I think I've got brain rot.Comment

Made everything 10 times more lethal than it already was.
Could barely stand up on the back lane.
Luckily I didn't need to get the car out..

After driving automatics for some years, I'd nearly forgotten too.Originally posted by norrahe View PostJust watching top gear US version, ouch, painful, talk about taking yourself too seriously and the inability to drive.
I forgot Americans don't know how to change gear
However, the purchase of the rollerskate (Fiat Seicento) soon cured that.
Clutch is a bit lumpy though.Comment

Gosh.
Checking up on the last episode of NCIS re the missing B47 and Mk15 nuke, it appears that they were correct, it does weigh a mere 7600lbs.
However, rather than being lost in the Med, it was lost near Savannah, Georgia.
It's still there somewhere, should you fancy a quick look.Comment
