I think I'll spend some time going through the source of this damn framework - it's a truly excellent thing (not a crock of tulip like .NET or suchlike) but it seems to me essential that I adopt the same patterns of thought as the creators (so it's handy having one of them on the team).

Once I'm there, I can bend it to my will... and maybe get it mutated where (well, if) necessary
