Quiet in here tonight... was it something I said?

In addition to the new series of Dr Who starting on Saturday on BBC1, I note that BBC4 is repeating series one of Dr Who from 1963... the dear old William Hartnell classics...

For those who may be interested, it starts at 8p.m. on BBC4, showing the first 3 or 4 episodes, with more on Monday evening... maybe Sunday evening as well.

For want of anything better, I watched Thunderbolt & Lightfoot last evening...

It's quite amusing in its way... until the ultraviolence bit near the end.

It was written & directed by Michael Cimmino, he of "Heaven's Gate" infamy...

And of course, it co-starred Jeff Bridges, who was the star of Starman... a rather less violent than usual John Carpenter movie...

I think the hard disk on naughty pc is on its way out... it's been in there for 6 years so can't complain...

The 'Elf & Safety man was prowling around the place this afternoon...

I'm always suspicious when that happens... ulterior motives & all that...

I'm looking forward to finishing building my latest PCB tomorrow... I'm dying to see if it works properly.

I had intended to make it yesterday, but the problem with the pc put the kibosh on that.

I was gutted that my new tracing paper won't feed through the laser printer properly... most annoying.

I may have to buy some more from WHS... that was good stuff.

                      It gets worse.

This "older" lady that my mate wants me to take for a date isn't technically 31.

I was invited out for a birthday drink next weekend. Technically that makes her 32 in my book.

Now we're entering just plain wrong territory.
