I am interested in knowing how has done the longest sequence of posts - any ideas?

It is quite interesting to to work out sql to do this, given columns post_id and user_name_who_posted. presumably one has to examine every row?

I'm planning to move the data over to Amazon's SimpleDB, which will index it very efficiently. Maybe I should look into providing a few standard reports first, just to keep people happy

A little digging in my Subversion repository, and I've found the source for the little proxy I wrote which parses ill-formed HTML into well-formed XML and transforms it using the specified XSLT stylesheet

This is why it's important to have a source control system...
