Probably not. They will now come back knowing you are a believer and, therefore, an easy conversion.

I explain to them - as I do to everyone - that I had a Christian home life, went to Sunday school, was active in a church-associated Scout Group and went to church (C of E) schools. I have a thorough understanding of religion, its origins, its role in society and, as a consequence, I am a devout atheist.

I'm too damned hard to convert: I know too much.
Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

That's because by weight, they make little difference to land fill so the councils don;t care.

Yet domestic batteries are a main cause of water table pollution by leaking damn dangerous heavy metal salts into the ground.

      How crap is that?
we have a place a mile away that takes batteries/small electrical goods.

keep them all and take them to your council dump - it makes sense...

they know nothing - I just want the kids to go to a decent school.

assuming they fail to get into grammar school and I lose my job so can't go private.

They get collected either monthly or fortnightly.

That should smell nice in the summer.

They are also small and light enough for mice to get into, never mind rats.

we get one of those for the kitchen - plus a large bin outside to tip it into. collectec weekly....

There's nothing abnormal in a love of numbers.

Our brains are stupendously, amazingly and incredibly good at pattern recognition and matching.

It is hardly surprising the elegance and beauty of pure mathematics has such broad appeal, even if it does get repackaged as 'art' or 'music' or 'playing a game' or 'solving a puzzle'.

I know that and you know that but the JWs will be back...

                Persistent buggers, they are.

In Merkinland, the Baptists specifically target church-goers for conversion because they get the best conversion rate on them.

The JWs are just as focussed on their "Good Work".

You can't expect the rest of us to do all the work for you, you know.
