it seems as fast as ever...

It really shouldn't have any effect - it's only getting one page every five seconds, and it obviously doesn't have to download images like ads, avatars and smileys, each of which imposes the overhead of an additional HTTP request on the server. Its impact should be negligible.

I'll probably stop it if it gets busy here, and run it at night when there's minimal traffic. In addition, I'm wondering how rapidly my database is going to fill up...
