I have been struggling with it for about 50 minutes.

Hotel Wi-Fi comes in two sorts:

a) free, but barely works

and

b) hideously expensive and barely works.

This is the former.

My hideously expensive one keeps telling me "Maximum number of simultaneous connections reached."

At one o'clock in the morning?

When (judging by the vans in the car park) half the people staying there are shopfitters and such who tend to head off for work by half seven at the latest?
