Now that is interesting! I have no idea where MrsF's site comes in terms of what people are searching for - just not had time to look into it. I don't even know what the keywords are that people are using - 56% comes from direct traffic and only 28% from search engines.Originally posted by Jog On View PostI've been reading about how traffic from positions 3-6 on the right of the google results (the sponsored links from adwords) convert better than traffic from the top positions.
Same with organic results - that means people who click the 3rd -6th result are more inclined to buy than people who just click the 'top position' - which so many people get so hysterical about getting...
It's crazy how what gurus and experts say contrasts so heavily with what peopel actually do.
Google Analytics is ticking over doing the stats, but it needs a bit longer for anything really meaningful to come out of them.Comment

Then get a Bedford van and go to Ross-on-Wye instead: you'll save a fortune. But don't tell anyone - it's a secret!Originally posted by NickFitz View PostI've sometimes thought of hiring a Transit van and going to Hay-on-Wye for a week... problem is I'd be bankrupt by the time I left
