If only that were true! I should cope!

But no, alas. It is for an initial 6 months and is expected to run for at least 12 months. Alas and alack! Extension upon extension? Will this horror they intend to thrust upon me never end??

Sumamrise - I have no time to recap TPD any more.
Sue Mammarise? That buxom wench? Even her soft virtues would not help me sleep.

No, this pain must be borne through day and night.

By, the gods, man, but you're half right!

Indeed, they will make me work. But I can cope with that. I have strong fingers and a broad arse. I can sit and drivel for England, The Flying Spaghetti Monster and St George! I fear no memo! I do not tremble at an email! But...

            oh! woe is me!

No, no, no, no, no! I am happy I have a contract, but the devil is in the detail!

Had you been reading this from the start you would have already known - I said - I have a gig.

The length is good. The money is great. It is outside IR35. The location is luvverly. I start on Monday. It's even an hourly rate "because we expect there to be loads of overtime so it's only fair"!

But there is a small detail.

That would make my home-working missus very happy and me bone idle!

                      No it is on-site.
