That would imply archery would be a viable method of vampire control. Either massed longbows for tackling hordes or crossbows for unit-scale confrontations.

Would it be feasible to produce wooden belt-fed machine gun ammo?

Don't see why not... just use ebonite bullets.

I suppose balsa wood bullets wouldn't have the required ballistics...

Oh yeah, the look of the missus with bright red face, sweating and I hadn't even touched her.
