Although I did get quite good at forging my father's initials... looking back, I realise that he obviously knew what I'd done when it finally occurred to him that I hadn't got him to sign it for a few days... but he's never been averse to a bit of ingenuity, as long as it doesn't involve any important dishonesty...
He once showed me how to tape pens together to reduce the effort involved in doing lines (no, not what you drug-addled youngsters mean by that). I pointed out that the spacing was incorrect for the feint rules on the file paper provided by the school, and demonstrated how to insert shims to make it look convincing.
